146th anniversary of the actual battle. Battles on

Kenny Rogers Children’s Center Telethon

4th Annual Rodeo Run 5k
Athletes and enthusiasts alike are invited to enjoy a day of fun in the sun. The Sikeston Sports Complex provides a fast, flat, closed course. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each age category. Registration begins at 6:30am. Races start at 7:30am and go until 9:30am. Easter Egg Hunt
Children ages 2-10 are invited to bring their baskets and
hunt for more than 1,000 candy-filled eggs at 1pm. The
Easter Egg Hunt will be held on the lawn of the Hunter-
Dawson State Historic Site, a beautiful antebellum home
located at 312 Dawson Road, New Madrid, Missouri. Prizes
